The IQN Hub Summer School – QuNeSS 2027
27 June – 3 July 2027 | Edinburgh, UK
The IQN Hub is hosting an international Quantum Networks Summer School (QuNeSS) in 2027.
Taking place at Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Campus, QuNeSS 2027 will be a week-long residential event for postgraduate students and early career researchers interested in all aspects of quantum networking, quantum communications, quantum and post-quantum cryptography and supporting technologies.
The programme will feature tutorials and presentations from leading researchers as well as key figures from global large-scale quantum infrastructure projects who will provide insights about new directions in the field. It will also include sessions on entrepreneurship and commercialisation, as well as engagement with industry experts providing practical, real‑world perspectives.
The summer school promises to be an exciting and immersive learning experience. It is being funded by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC),
with support from Scottish Universities Summer School in Physics (SUSSP) and Centre for Doctoral Training in Applied Quantum Technologies (AQT CDT).
