This 3-day Winter School is organised by the Semiconductor Photonics and Quantum Technologies (SPQT) research cluster at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and Sheffield Quantum Centre (SQC) at the University of Sheffield.
The Winter School will focus on generation, control and detection of quantum light; novel materials for (quantum) nanophotonics; strong light-matter interaction; spins and spin-photon interface in semiconductor quantum dots and solid state defects and other related topics.
The school will consist of lectures by leading researchers, industry talks and poster sessions by the school attendees – see details in the Programme.
The school is suitable for all researchers from a PhD student level.
