Following the success of the Quantum ARC’s inaugural Quantum Summer School in July 2025, the University of St Andrews is welcoming early career researchers to register interest for its Light-Matter Interactions summer school from Sunday 7th – Wednesday 10th of June 2026 in St Andrews.

Focusing on light-matter interactions for quantum, the summer school will be an opportunity for researchers in the field of quantum technologies to gain a deeper understanding of core quantum concepts, develop skills required for future academic and industrial careers, and interact with peers to become part of a nationwide cohort of quantum technology researchers. The topics covered include quantum measurements, quantum materials, excitons and polaritons in quantum regime, atomic physics, open quantum systems, quantum biology, quantum chemistry and others.
