Hub Manager, Georgia Mortzou

As the IQN Hub manager, Georgia is responsible for leading the operational infrastructure of the project. She is a highly experienced programme manager and has been involved in the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme since its inception, having worked for a decade as the manager of the now successfully concluded Quantum Communications Hub.

Business Development Manager, Jamie Cameron

Jamie has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry. In 2015, he was awarded a prestigious JSPS Fellowship which he took up at the University of Tsukuba in Japan and was a Senior Researcher at the University of Nottingham from 2017-2021. Since 2021, Jamie has worked in technology and business consultancy, supporting everything from new start-ups to large multi-national corporations, helping them drive their innovation ambitions forward.

As the Business Development Manager for the IQN Hub, Jamie is eager to bring together prospective industry partners, outside stakeholders and hub researchers to deliver on the outstanding promise of quantum networking technologies.

Finance Manager, Fiona Neill

As Finance Manager, Fiona is responsible for overall management of the Hub’s budget, analysing financial data, and forecasting. Over the last four and a half years she has worked as the Project Manager for a large EPSRC-funded programme grant (SPEXS) and has many years of previous experience in finance.

Project Administrator, Emma Hopkinson

Emma brings nearly a decade of administrative experience to the IQN Hub, including several years in academic administrative support from her previous role at Edinburgh Napier University. She is eager to learn more about the world of quantum research and will support colleagues with a variety of tasks to ensure the success of the Hub.
