Members of the UK quantum community are invited to the Quantum Entrepreneurship Showcase 2026, celebrating the successful completion of the inaugural (2025-2026) Quantum Entrepreneurship Skills Programme (QuESP), a joint initiative of the QCi3 and QuSIT Hubs designed to support entrepreneurship across the UK quantum technology community. Although this is a face-to-face meeting, please note that the event can be joined at either venue (University of Glasgow or University of Oxford), which will be linked virtually to each other.
The Showcase will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, innovation leaders and the wider UK quantum community for an inspiring half-day of learning, networking and celebration.
The event will:
- Celebrate the achievements of the first cohort
- Showcase how researchers are translating quantum research into entrepreneurial opportunities (with contributions from some of the UK’s most exciting spinouts)
- Explore the opportunities and support available within the UK quantum innovation ecosystem
- Introduce the next iteration of the Quantum Entrepreneurship Skills Programme
A discussion panel will bring together Jessica Wade (Imperial College London), Jonathan Legh-Smith (UKQuantum), Morven Fraser-Walther (University of Glasgow), Derek Craig (UKRI) and Stephen Richardson (DBIST, Office for Quantum) to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the UK’s quantum sector.
